Abu Dhabi Sports Council successful in bid to host 2020 FINA World Swimming Championships (25m)

TSE congratulates its client UAE Swimming and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council on its successful bid to host the 2020 FINA World Swimming Championships (25m).

The FINA Bureau announced their decision in Kazan, venue of the FINA Swimming World Championships which is taking place this week. Abu Dhabi saw off strong competition from Lima, Peru and interests from Almaty, Kazakhstanl.

TSE Consulting supported the Abu Dhabi 2020 bid throughout the process, consulting on various aspects including message development, delivery of the technical file and final presentation made to the FINA Bureau members.

The 2020 Swimming Championships will be the latest addition to a growing portfolio of events for Abu Dhabi who have firmly established themselves as one of the leading sports event hosts in the world.

Ahmed Al Falasi, President of UAE Swimming said: “What a fantastic result for Swimming in the UAE. We have seen huge levels of growth for swimming in recent times and this success promises to provide a further boost to these developments.
